‘Mysterious mayhem..!’

Hi everyone!

I am on another fantastic blog tour organised by the wonderful Anne Carter from Random Things Blog Tours. Today I am reviewing Tales of Unexplained Mystery by Steph Young!

Blurb

Tales of Mystery Unexplained….What happened to Elisa Lam, found dead in a water tower atop a hotel roof? Who were the two men who came to see her & what was in the mystery box they gave her? Why did the location of her gravestone match the zip code of a Bookstore, miles away?

Why was a man found in the same spot he disappeared, but 4 years later, with a hole in his head that no surgeons could explain? And what did this have to do with a séance, doppelgangers & the assassination of Abraham Lincoln? Why did a man write the Fibonacci sequence as a clue & tell a stranger he was “Looking for the Beast,” before he disappeared in the barren plains of a desert? Plus many more Tales of Mystery Unexplained.

Review

I am fascinated with stories that have more to them than meets the eye. Steph Young is determined to find out the truth, even if it is more complicated than first thought.

So many mysteries stuck out to me but my review is spoiler-free as usual so you won’t be hearing any secrets from me! I’m letting Young do all the talking. Young clearly cares about her work and provides an unbiased and objective view for readers, giving out the facts and letting the reader muse over any mysterious goings on.

There were some stories that I was aware of before, but not with this level of information. Young also included several stories that I had never heard of and I wanted to go further down the rabbit hole. So many interesting and truly nail-biting stories are within these pages.

I will say that this book definitely hosts the creep-factor. I couldn’t put it down but the hairs on the back of my neck were very much on end! I loved it and flew through it in no time, I just wanted to know more!

I warn you, this book will make you hooked on mysterious crimes, disappearances, and other strange goings on. As a fan of unsolved mysteries, I thought I knew all there was to them, but I was wrong. I am utterly blown away by the level of research and dedication by Young in her book. It is such a compelling and stimulating read!

This book is a guide into the world of the unknown, once you begin, you won’t be able to turn back!

Recommendation

This book is a brilliant companion to anyone interested in true crime, conspiracy theories, and unsolved mysteries. This book is neither tacky nor cheesy; Young details stories that are filled with strange mysteries in a sophisticated manner as she investigates and captivates the reader by going deeper into the story.
