“I think my birthday suits me…”

Hello everyone….

Happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me, happy birthday books beyond the storyyyyyyyyyy, happy birthday to meeeeeeeeeeee! Hip Hip Hooray!

I cannot believe my blog is one year old… whoop whoop! I thought I’d use this opportunity to say thank you to everyone who has supported me on my journey as a book blogger in addition to sharing some of my favourite books I’ve read/reviewed this year!

THANK YOU to my loyal followers and readers! As a book blogger, I rely on you to follow, like, share, tag etc and it means a lot to me! I have adored books since the moment I learned to read and blogging about them is really fun and very rewarding!

Over the past year, I’ve made some lovely blogger friends and love the book blogging community I am now a part of! I have loved collaborating with authors, blog tours, book reviews, author requested reviews, other blogs, etc… I HAVE LOVED IT ALL!

My blog has grown so much over the year and I appreciate all the support!

Some special mentions-

Thank you Lynda Spiro for being the first even author to request a review from my blog! ‘There Is Always More To Say’ will always have a special place in my heart!

Sarah Surgey and Emma Vestrheim’s novel ‘A Presence of Absence’ was the first book blog tour I took part in and as an extra, my endorsement was on the front cover! Thanks for involving me, it was so exciting!

Thanks to my mum for being my number 1 photography partner and location finder for book photos, dealing with my many many books and encouraging me from the start!

Thanks to my wonderful partner who puts up with my book obsession and knows what to get me on special occasions…. More books 😉

Thanks to my family and friends who support my blog too!

Thank you to every single author who has asked for a review of their book- I have lots to get through over the next month so stay tuned and know I appreciate you getting in touch with me!

I have lots to come over the next few weeks never mind next year! Blog tours, author requested reviews, themed months plus a special piece I am putting together to encourage more people to read! I’m so excited!

Here’s to the first of my blog’s many birthdays!

And (you all know this by now) HAPPY READING! Lx
