Okay, so if you haven’t yet read ‘A Streetcar Named Desire’ by the one and only Tennessee Williams, you really should. It’s quite a short read bearing in mind that this is in fact a play. The plot is fantastic (no spoilers don’t worry!) and the characters, though not all of them likable, are very intriguing to say the least. Hands down, this is one of my favorite plays of all time. It’s quite a different read as essentially you’re handed the script. As no actor is the same, because you’re given the dialogue, you can perceive and interpret how the characters act which can develop a sense of attachment and empathy towards each character. Reading a play with a fantastic story all conveyed through dialogue is a very intriguing and illuminating process, I hope you enjoy! Let me know what you think!

Happy reading! L x
